Our award-winning Insurance & Financial Services (I&FS) practice has grown significantly in recent years, and our continued aim is to be the leading advisors in our areas of specialism – in investment & asset liability management, in risk and capital management, in products, and in longevity. We have ambitious plans and, have had phenomenal success in the life insurance market and, increasingly, in the non-life market. We are also expanding our client base, beyond the UK, with a reasonable amount of our revenue coming from clients based outside the UK.
We therefore have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, high-calibre, revenue-focused risk professional to take on a role in our award-winning I&FS practice. This role will head up our overall Risk proposition, combining the qualitative and quantitative aspects of risk management – with responsibilities spanning life and non-life clients both within and outside the UK.
Key Responsibilities
The role-holder will be a key part of the I&FS leadership team, working with the rest of senior management to implement the next phase of our strategic growth plans, as well as supporting the day-to-day operations of the practice. The specific area of responsibility will be in building out our Risk proposition – primarily within the qualitative and non-financial areas of risk management, supplementing our quantitative risk management expertise to provide a complete Risk proposition.
This role-holder will not only help to win new client engagements and grow new and existing client relationships, but will play a key role in delivering assignments, primarily in the area of risk management – covering UK and, ideally, international markets.
This role-holder will help to leverage wider parts of the firm, including our Risk Transfer, Investment and Digital teams, for the benefit of our I&FS clients.
