This role will be based in our Staines office with some hybrid working available.

The Role
The Lead Subsea Engineer is a senior-level role responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in subsea engineering within the oil and gas industry. This position involves overseeing the design, installation, and maintenance of subsea systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and managing a team of subsea engineers.

Expected:
9. Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, preferably in petroleum, mechanical, or subsea engineering
10. Extensive experience in subsea engineering within the oil and gas industry, including a proven track record in leading subsea projects
11. Strong knowledge of subsea engineering principles, subsea systems, and relevant industry codes and standards (., API, ISO)
12. Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritise tasks, and deliver results within deadlines and budget constraints
13. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and contractors
14. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on finding innovative and practical solutions to complex subsea engineering challenges
15. Sound understanding of HSE regulations and a commitment to promoting a safe working environment
Desirable:
