Position: Electrical Buyer
Location: London
Work Pattern: Contract - Hybrid
We're recruiting for a Electrical Buyer to be responsible for purchasing electrical components for the construction and rail industry.
Responsibilities
* Supply chain management – building relationships with existing & new suppliers, negotiating competitive pricing and ensuring timely delivery.
* Maintain & update a supply chain tracker, with all key details included, such as supplier specialty, agreed payment terms, credit limit, any applicable rebates.
* Monitor monthly spend with each supplier
* Liaise with the Commercial & Accounting departments to forecast costs weekly & monthly.
Qualifications
* Construction industry experience buying electrical components
* Ideally experience in Commercial, Industrial or Rail sector
* Able to read technical drawings
* Good MS Office Excel, Word, Adobe
* Good communication and organisational skills
