Job Summary:
We are currently recruiting a 20 hours per week Catering Assistant to join our team at the George Steven Community Hub - Hope Café.
This is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will work as part of a strong, supportive team to enrich the lives of people who use our services including adults with learning disabilities, complex health and mobility needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with the preparation of food
2. Take customer orders
3. Provide a high level of customer service
4. Maintain tidiness, cleanliness, and hygiene in all areas
5. Assist with the serving of meals and drinks
6. Use and clean kitchen appliances safely and responsibly
Successful candidate will have:
7. Excellent communication skills
8. Previous experience in a catering role
9. Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to complete
