Overview

Join the UK’s largest independent property group and play a vital role in shaping the future of our business by hiring the best talent across the country. As part of the Talent Acquisition Team, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and “managing in” top-tier Property Professionals and aspiring property agents throughout the UK.

What is on offer of a Talent Acquisition Specialist:

1. Basic salary of up to £26,000 per year
2. Complete on-target earnings exceeding £40,000+ per year
3. Uncapped commission scheme
4. Monday to Friday - 09:00am to 17:30pm (2 days in office, 3 days working from home)
5. 22 days annual leave, plus bank holidays

What will you be responsible for as a Talent Acquisition Specialist:

As part of our high-profile recruitment team, you will be in charge of “managing in” the top property agents throughout the UK to support our new “FORGE” initiative. You will be responsible for sourcing, and guiding, candidates through our hiring process.

9. Headhunting / Sourcing Candidates
10. Generating candidate pipelines and a comprehensive subsbench
11. Conducting screening calls and telephone interviews
12. Build and maintain strong relationships with individuals at all levels within the business
13. Uphold the Spicerhaart mission statement of giving all applicants the best recruitment experience possible
14. Arranging and scheduling both face to face, and virtual interviews
15. Advertising vacancies using the relevant job boards
16. Arranging and participating in UK wide recruitment events, assessment days, and job fairs
17. Build relationships with external agencies to work together on those hard-to-fill roles

Essential skills of a Talent Acquisition Specialist:

18. Internal recruitment or volume recruitment experience is preferred
19. Estate Agency background would be considered
20. Able to make others feel comfortable and confident and instil a sense of “trustworthiness” to all stakeholders
21. Strong customer service experience
22. Experience in creating and maintaining relationships
23. Excellent telephone manner
24. Strong administration skills
25. Self-motivated and driven
26. Confident to "manage upwards" to senior team members
27. Willingness to learn and be involved
28. Experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
29. Demonstrated commitment to tasks and to the priorities of Spicerhaart as a business
30. Open-minded and open to change and development
31. Excellent interpersonal and intrapersonal skills
32. Highly organised
33. Excellent time-management
34. Candidate-focused
35. Ability to work with complex information
36. Ability to stay calm when under pressure
