This permanent onsite role allows you to directly influence Formula One car performance, collaborating with industry experts in a fast‑paced, high‑tech environment. Key Responsibilities Develop advanced electronic control systems for on‑car use, simulators (HIL/DIL), and test facilities Own projects end‑to‑end: specification, implementation, testing, delivery, and ongoing support Build software/tools for calibration, data monitoring, analysis, and performance optimisation Support development of standard ECU software and calibrations Investigate control system issues using telemetry, HIL and SIL tools Create HIL simulations and plant models to enhance test coverage Contribute to coding standards and systems engineering methods Provide factory-based race and test supportKey Skills & Experience Degree in Electronics, Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics or related field Proven Motorsport experience Strong control theory knowledge with excellent analytical/mathematical skills Experience modelling/measuring mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems Proven real-time control software development using Matlab / Simulink / Stateflow and auto‑coding Knowledge of high‑speed data acquisition and analysis Experience with McLaren Applied tools such as System Monitor or ATLAS (advantageous)If you're passionate about elite motorsport and want to have a direct impact on performance at the highest level, this is the opportunity to do it
