Your New Role
As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you will source and screen qualified candidates for targeted positions and proactively build a diverse talent pipeline across Europe. Experience recruiting for engineering or environmental consulting roles is preferred. Fluency in Finnish is essential to support our business in Finland, which has approximately 2,500 professionals across all Ramboll's Global Business Areas.
Our Talent Acquisition team operates across the UK with a flexible mix of home and office work, based mainly in Birmingham. The team includes passionate colleagues from the UK, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway, all eager to welcome you. You will be part of a global Talent Acquisition community, collaborating closely with your colleagues.
Within Ramboll’s Global Talent Acquisition organization, you will develop and implement creative recruiting strategies for complex roles spanning multiple business areas and regions.
Key Responsibilities
o Work closely with Hiring Managers to understand business needs and identify external talent sources for specific regions and functions
o Use various sourcing channels (e.g., Boolean Search, social media, databases, company websites, CRM) to develop a steady pipeline of qualified and diverse candidates for open, recurring, and niche roles
o Innovate sourcing strategies by leveraging resources and sharing ideas to identify suitable candidate profiles
o Conduct pre-screening phone interviews to assess skills, cultural fit, and potential for current and future roles
o Build relationships with potential candidates through networking, referrals, and passive recruiting techniques, including social media engagement
o Maintain and enhance external relationships to strengthen our market presence
About You
We support your personal and professional growth from day one. While we encourage ongoing development, the following qualifications and skills will help you succeed in this role:
o Experience in recruitment within a large international company or agency
o Experience in Engineering, Environmental, or Management Consulting is advantageous
o Ability to research and interpret competitor information
o Strong proactive outreach, candidate sourcing, and phone screening skills
o Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
o Familiarity with social media, recruitment tools, and systems like LinkedIn
o Proven ability to meet SLAs, KPIs, and team goals
o Effective prioritization skills under tight deadlines
