We’re currently seeking experienced and driven QC Inspector to represent Fulkrum and our clients on-site, based in Aberdeen. This role is critical to our success, requiring attention to detail, a high level of technical knowledge, and a strong commitment to quality standards. About the Role As a QC Inspector, you’ll ensure that products, materials, and processes meet rigorous quality and regulatory standards. You’ll conduct inspections, identify non-conformities, and collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to uphold quality throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Represent Fulkrum and clients during on-site QC activities across various project sites Perform visual inspections and verify material certificates for compliance Witness and validate NDT and FAT following industry and project standards Conduct inspections based on ITPs, including pre-shipment checks and resolving discrepancies Follow documented procedures and ensure all inspections meet quality requirements Prepare and submit clear, detailed inspection reports within 24 hours Identify and report non-conformities while maintaining strict data confidentiality Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and traceable, meeting all SLA obligations Support the coordination team with documentation reviews and project execution Alert management to conflicts of interest or undue pressure, and uphold independence, impartiality, integrity, and confidentiality in line with ISO 17020 Type A standards Key Skills Strong understanding of industry standards, including ASME, API, ASNT, and NACE Experience with Oil & Gas project environments Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17020:2012 and inspection procedures Excellent communication and client relationship management skills Highly organized with the ability to multitask and perform under pressure Experience 10 years in QC inspection of Temporary Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Proven track record in Oil & Gas projects Extensive hands-on experience with inspection of mechanical and electrical equipment Electrical Inspectors: COMPEX and ATEX preferred. Experience working with SMEs in the Temporary Mobile Inspection field. Familiarity with Operator and EPC requirements for the inspection of Temporary Mobile Equipment. Why Join Us?
