Mondrian Alpha has partnered with a leading Hedge Fund to seek a Tax Analyst for its growing Tax team in London. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to work within a globally recognized firm, supporting tax compliance, process improvements, and regulatory filings across multiple jurisdictions. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure top-tier tax management and reporting.
This role is ideal for a recently qualified accountant looking to gain broad exposure, including direct partnership with investment professionals and senior stakeholders. Key responsibilities include ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting tax compliance, and providing analysis for strategic decisions. The Tax Analyst will handle corporate tax compliance, VAT filings, withholding tax processes, and transfer pricing reviews.
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of post-qualification tax experience, preferably gained in-house at a financial services firm or at a leading accounting firm. Qualified accountants (ACA or equivalent) with strong academic backgrounds are preferred. Experience in financial services, especially hedge funds, is highly desirable.
