As a Trainee Chef, you will receive following benefits : Great rates of pay with 10% enhancement at weekends Profit share bonus scheme Excellent induction programme Excellent training and development opportunities Rewards scheme Retail discounts Employee assistance programme Cycle to work scheme Uniform provided Responsibilities and duties for the Trainee Chef role are: Prepare and serve meals to residents and staff according to pre-set menus Order stock, ensuring availability of ingredients and receiving stock Manage food storage according to EH regulations Stock rotation and wastage control Ensure high standards of cleanliness and Infection control Requirements for the Trainee Chef role: Current food hygiene certificate would be useful but training to be given Experience of cooking in a care home or similar environment would be ideal but not essential Good spoken and written English Pay: As an employee (Age 21 years ) you will earn Salary: From 12.60 10% increase on any weekend hours worked 50% extra pay on Bank Holidays Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
