Key Responsibilities
* Conduct on-site inspections to assess existing road conditions and determine necessary maintenance regimes
* Schedule and coordinate maintenance works, ensuring timely completion of tasks
* Develop maintenance plans and drawings using CAD software
* Collaborate with local authorities and other stakeholders to implement effective maintenance strategies
* Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety standards and regulations
* Monitor and evaluate completed work to ensure it meets required standards
Job Requirements
* Proven experience in highway maintenance engineering, particularly within local authority schemes
* Expertise in creating and interpreting CAD drawings for maintenance projects
* Ability to conduct thorough site inspections and develop appropriate maintenance plans
* Strong understanding of highway maintenance principles and practices
* Excellent project management and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on-site
* Full-time availability with no option for remote working
* Residency in or around the East Riding area for easy accessibility to sites
Contract Details
* Full-time position (40 hours per week)
* Initial contract term of 3-4 months with potential for ongoing extension
* Outside IR35
