Join us as a Station Guide at Sizewell B Power Station, where you'll be the face and voice of our station, delivering engaging presentations and site tours to diverse groups. This role offers flexible hours and the chance to educate and inspire school and college groups, the public, and business visitors.
The Opportunity
In this role, you'll be the ambassador of Sizewell B Power Station, delivering presentations and site tours to various groups. You'll need to be quick-thinking, friendly, and confident to ensure a positive experience for all visitors, regardless of their background.
This role is offered as a permanent, annualised hours contract with a minimum of 8 hours per week. The hours are typically Monday to Friday, but additional hours and occasional evening work may be required depending on tour demands.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Station Guide, you'll be the face and voice of Sizewell B Power Station and EDF, ensuring visitor safety and satisfaction. You'll represent the station at external events, deliver presentations, support educational activities, communicate with stakeholders, and work with the Visitor Centre Coordinator to promote EDF's reputation locally.
Who You Are
We're seeking a friendly, approachable individual with an interest in Science and Engineering, flexibility in working days, and enthusiasm to learn about nuclear energy. You should be IT literate, capable with Microsoft Office, and possess excellent communication and customer service skills. The role involves leading walking tours lasting approximately 3 hours, so good physical fitness is essential.
