Paraplanner Leatherhead area circa £50,000 DOE
Flexible on hybrid approach, need to be based within a reasonable distance of the office
A growing Independent Financial Advice and Investment Management practice are looking to grow their team by bringing on a Level 4 qualified Paraplanner to directly support a couple of Financial Advisers and work as the right hand to them, sitting in client meetings and looking after a busy client bank.
You will join a long-standing business that is on a growth trajectory and prides themselves on their independent whole of market and people-focused approach to advice.
Please note: To be considered for this role you must be Level 4 qualified (ideally via CII) and have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
You will have the opportunity to:
1. Directly support with clients on complex cases
2. Sit in client meetings
3. Gather research and analyse information
4. Product suitability letters and reports
5. Conduct cash flow modelling and presentations
6. Construct financial plans with the Adviser
7. Keep up to date with technical, legislative and regulatory changes
8. Assist with the work of the Administrators
You are able to progress in this position through guided professional development plans, and the full support to take further Financial Planning exams.
Whats needed to be considered?
In order to be considered for this unique opportunity, candidates need to have
9. 2+ years of experience in a Paraplanning position
10. Hold Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
11. Proven experience of providing quality support to Financial Planners
12. Have excellent knowledge of investment, life and pensions products and current legislation
13. Experience with cashflow modelling is ideal
