We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Employment Coach to join our Southport team. This role offers the chance to build a rewarding career supporting people with disability to develop skills, gain confidence, and achieve their employment goals.
As a Trainee, you’ll complete a Certificate III in Individual Support (or Community Support) while gaining valuable hands‑on experience. Once you’ve completed your traineeship, there’s potential to progress into a full Employment Coach role.
You’ll be part of a supportive team environment — there will always be another Employment Coach on site — and full training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
* Support employees to achieve their workplace and personal development goals.
* Coach and guide individuals through their daily work tasks.
* Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive workplace culture.
* Collaborate with the Site Manager and team to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
* Maintain accurate records and support internal reporting requirements.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and quality service delivery.
Skills and Experience:
* A genuine interest in supporting others to grow and succeed at work.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
* Willingness to learn and complete the Certificate III qualification as part of the traineeship.
* Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office experience preferred).
Previous experience supporting people or working in a team environment will be highly regarded but is not essential — we’ll provide full training and on‑the‑job learning.
Qualifications:
* Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
* NDIS clearance.
* National Police clearance.
* Driver's Licence not required.
