We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Salaried GP to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality primary care services, including consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and preventative care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure our patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care. We are a GP training practice and are at sessional level for Research. We use SystemOne clinical system. As a Salaried GP you will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered patients.

* Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations
* Manage acute and chronic conditions, including prescribing and referrals
* Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to service development
* Support the training and supervision of medical students and junior staff (if applicable)

Job responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities:
In accordance with the Practice timetable, as agreed, the Salaried GP will make him/her-self available to undertake a variety of duties including;
* Surgery consultations, telephone consultations, visiting patients at home and in nursing homes, checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion.
* Reviewing patient test results as and when required
* In consultation with patients and in line with current Practice disease management protocol, developing care plans for health
* Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation
* Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness
* Cover all the clinical management of the patients in surgery as appropriate including initiating investigations, reviewing results, making referrals to secondary care or to other providers as appropriate
* Ensuring appropriate follow up of patients
* Recording clear and contemporaneous computerised consultation notes to agreed standards
* To collect and record data for the purposes of the QOF
* Compiling and issuing computer-generated acute and repeat prescriptions (avoiding hand-written prescriptions whenever possible)
* Prescribing generically whenever appropriately and in accordance with the Practice prescribing formulary, NICE guidance and Good Prescribing Practice (as defined by British National Formulary guidance)
* In general the post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.

* GMC registered with a license to practice
* Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
* Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills

* Working well in a multidisciplinary environment
* Awareness of and compliance with all relevant national clinical policies and guidelines
* A good working knowledge of the GP contract, QOF, enhanced services, Universal Offer and Primary Care
