My client is a well-established business in the construction industry, operating from a state-of-the-art facility and holding top-tier SHEQ accreditations. This is an excellent opportunity for a Health, Safety, and Environmental professional with experience in the construction sector.
As a SHEQ Coordinator, you will play a key role in implementing and maintaining SHEQ systems. Your responsibilities will include managing accident investigations, addressing non-conformances, and driving a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation, development, and ongoing maintenance of SHEQ management systems.
Oversee the investigation and reporting of accidents, near-misses, and non-conformances, ensuring effective corrective actions are taken.
Maintain up-to-date risk assessments, COSHH documentation, legal compliance registers, and environmental aspect/impact registers.
Coordinate and conduct internal audits, site inspections, staff inductions, and regular reviews of RAMS.
Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics, including energy usage and waste management performance.
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, promoting best practices across all operational areas.
Collaborate closely with managers and supervisors to identify, address, and resolve safety and quality issues.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives and foster a proactive, positive safety culture across the organisation.Skills and Experience
NEBOSH or IOSH
Experience in accident investigation and root cause analysis
