Location: Leicester – Radar Road (Hybrid working: 3–4 days in the office)

Pay Rate: Negotiable Dependent on experience
Security Clearance: UK Security Check (SC) Candidates may start on BPSS while SC is in progress
Main Purpose of the Role
The Quality Delivery Engineer is responsible for managing project quality arrangements across all phases of the project lifecycle, covering both internal and external activities. The role ensures that quality assurance and audit activities are effectively implemented, monitored, and reported, while supporting the wider Assurance function as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement and manage project quality arrangements.
* Advise on all aspects of quality management, including risks and issues.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
* Establish effective communication channels with customers and suppliers.
* Plan and implement internal and external audit activities, including supplier audits.
* Provide man-hour and cost estimates to support bids, tenders, and project forecasts.
* Participate in project meetings, contract reviews, and handover meetings.
* Support the project team in managing and closing out quality non-conformances.
* Review and approve supplier quality documentation in line with project and customer requirements (e.g. QCPs, weld procedures, NDE procedures).
* Monitor progress against quality plans and escalate issues where required.
* Liaise with customers to understand quality assurance, control, and inspection expectations.
* Review tender and contract documentation to identify customer-specific quality requirements.
* Prepare project quality plans, documentation, and project-specific procedures, considering health, safety, and environmental aspects.
* Review purchase requisitions and orders for quality requirements.
* Carry out supplier assessments and evaluations.
Knowledge Requirements
* Strong working knowledge of the nuclear industry.
* Good understanding of relevant regulations and legislation.
* Knowledge of customer quality requirements.
* Practical application of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
Experience
* Experience gained in a similar quality role within the nuclear sector or another highly regulated industry.

Qualifications & Additional Requirements
* HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Engineering) preferred.
* Auditor training desirable.
* Willingness to travel to UK sites and occasionally overseas.
