SEND Teaching Assistant Contract Type:Temporary, Term Time Only Hours: 8.15am-4.00pm Pay Rate: £13.68 an hour Wirral Excell Supply are currently recruiting for SEN teaching assistants to work with Children with various additional needs in schools, for day to day, short-term and long-term positions within school hours. These roles are on a supply basis so are very flexible to work around your busy life. To be considered for these roles, you will need to be someone who has a caring and nurturing personality, who has the ability to build rapport with children, but also the ability to effectively manage challenging behaviour. A teaching assistant qualification would be ideal, but experience of working with children or young adults with additional needs is essential to these roles. Working with Excell can help you gain experience working within a number of different schools, or help you gain a long term or permanent placement in a school, depending on your preference.
