CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO)
JOB BASICS
A senior level position, the Chief Executive Officer's initial responsibility is to develop a strong and reliable distribution network and to hire and develop a competent team to operate the business. The CEO leads the strategic planning, sales, and logistics/distribution processes. The position oversees supply chain execution and is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, 3rd party logistics partner performance, and supply chain issue resolution.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
With superior business acumen, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successfully developing a large-scale distribution network within the Australian market. You must have extensive commercial sales experience and strong leadership capabilities. Experience of working with the wood-panel industry would be highly advantageous. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and comprehensive financial and analytical knowledge.
WHAT WILL PUT YOU AHEAD
•5+ years' experience in a senior management position in the wood products industry or manufacturing sector.
•Detailed understanding of diverse business functions including sales, logistics, marketing, and finance.
•Documented entrepreneurial experience as a business owner or leading new business development
•A track record of hiring and developing a commercial team who achieve outstanding results
•Experience within a senior logistics or supply chain management role
