HGV Technician Needed in Blackburn:
Location: Blackburn
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm (Shift Work)
Salary: £18 - £20 per hour + overtime available
Our client, a well-established Commercial Vehicle Specialist, is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a company that values its employees and offers long-term career stability. Alongside a strong basic salary, there is regular overtime available for those who want it.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of commercial vehicles to MOT standard
2. Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and to a high standard
3. Work with minimal supervision while maintaining excellent attention to detail
4. Ensure all work complies with safety and compliance regulations
5. Support the wider workshop team and contribute to a positive working environment
What We’re Looking For:
6. Proven experience as an HGV Technician (Commercial Main Dealer experience desirable)
7. Qualified to a Level 3 standard in HGV maintenance and repair (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent)
8. Full UK Driving Licence (Class C+E licence advantageous)
9. Strong technical and diagnostic skills with the ability to work independently
