Business Development Director – UK (Remote with National Travel)

Role: Business Development Director

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially astute Business Development Director to join a leading Managed IT Service Provider. This is a key role focusing on developing new business opportunities across a comprehensive technology portfolio including Microsoft Azure, Managed IT Services, Cyber Security, and Business Applications (such as Dynamics 365).

The successful candidate will take the lead on building relationships with mid-market organisations, and will be responsible for driving new revenue streams through self-generated leads, marketing-qualified leads, and internal referrals. You will sell to decision-makers at C-Level and work closely with technical pre-sales and account directors to deliver tailored technology solutions.

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in developing new business within IT Managed Services, Cloud Solutions, or related technology fields such as Microsoft Azure, Cyber Security, or D365. This is a 100% new business role with deals passed to account management teams after closure.

Requirements:

* Minimum 3 years of sales experience in Managed IT Services, Cloud Infrastructure (Azure, AWS), Cyber Security, or Business Applications (D365)
* Proven success in new business development and ability to engage senior decision-makers
* Strong understanding of how Managed Services providers operate
* UK driving licence and flexibility to travel nationally

Benefits:

· £70,000 – £80,000 basic salary + uncapped quarterly bonus
