The Role
You will join a well-resourced department with a strong track record of success at GCSE and A-Level.
* Curriculum Focus: Deliver high-quality Physics lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, with a particular emphasis on stretching A-Level cohorts.
* Practical Learning: Work alongside a dedicated Science Technician to deliver engaging, safe, and impactful laboratory experiments.
* STEM Initiatives: Lead or contribute to extra-curricular clubs, such as Robotics, Astronomy, or Engineering challenges.
* Academic Achievement: Use data-driven strategies to ensure all students make outstanding progress, particularly in Triple Science and A-Level Physics.
The Candidate
* Subject Expertise: A degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field, combined with QTS.
* A-Level Experience: Proven ability (or the clear potential) to teach Physics to Key Stage 5.
* Communicator: The ability to explain abstract mathematical concepts with clarity and enthusiasm.
* Hillingdon-Based/Commuter: Ideally located within reach of Hillingdon, or looking to move to this well-connected West London borough.
