Job Summary

We are an education provider and are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, excellent phone etiquette, and a customer-focused mindset. This role requires proficiency in assisting in office operations, handling multi-line phone systems, and providing exceptional clerical support.

Duties

* Answer and manage calls using multi-line phone systems, ensuring professional communication
* Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
* Maintain filing systems for both physical and digital documents
* Complying with government funding rules
* Regular contact with funding bodies
* Liaising with tutors
* Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
* Support office management activities to ensure a smooth workflow within the organisation

Qualifications

* Previous experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Excellent typing skills with a focus on accuracy
* Experience in clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and proofreading
* Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
* Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
