Instrumentation & Controls Technician
We’re looking for an experienced Technician to join a regulated engineering environment supporting critical systems across manufacturing and facilities. This role focuses on maintaining, calibrating and improving instrumentation and control systems that support HVAC, utilities and process equipment, ensuring safety, reliability and compliance at all times.

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance via the CMMS
* Responding to breakdowns and emergency call-outs
* Maintaining instrumentation for temperature, pressure, humidity, flow and gas analysis
* Supporting HVAC, BMS, purified water systems, stability chambers, cold rooms and pressure cascades
* Ensuring all work and documentation meets GxP standards
* Improving preventative maintenance plans and identifying gaps
* Supporting small projects including installations and commissioning
* Managing spares, tools and consumables
* Working safely at all times and proactively identifying risks
* Communicating clearly with stakeholders to minimise disruption
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Engineering apprenticeship completed
* Instrumentation / Controls or Multi-Skilled Technician experience
* Recognised engineering qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
* Understanding of GxP environments
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Good documentation and communication skills
* Safety-focused, proactive and a strong team player
Desirable:
* GMP manufacturing experience
* Knowledge of PLCs, PCS or control systems
* Experience with boilers, water systems or L8 compliance
