About the Role
We are seeking a qualified, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school team from May 2026. This is a full‑time position working in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on where the successful candidate will make the greatest impact.
This rewarding role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning, able to build strong relationships, and keen to contribute positively to a vibrant school community.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality support to the class teacher and pupils across the school day
* Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities
* Work with individuals and small groups to support progress and inclusion
* Deliver targeted interventions under the direction of teaching staff
* Support pupils with additional needs, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment
* Help maintain a positive, purposeful classroom environment
* Contribute to assessment, record‑keeping and feedback
* Support the wider life of the school, including playground duties and school events

About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Qualified (Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant, or equivalent)
* Caring, patient and committed to supporting young learners
* Confident working across KS1 or KS2
* Able to follow direction while also showing initiative
* A strong communicator with pupils, colleagues and parents
* Organised, reliable and proactive
* Passionate about creating positive learning experiences

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
