WHY JOIN THE TEAM
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a transformative approach to employee relations. You’ll lead a high‑performing team in a centralised ER service, helping embed best practice and drive continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with Divisional HR teams and Legal, influence strategic decisions through data insights, and contribute to the development of future ER leaders. If you’re passionate about fairness, consistency, and making a real impact, this is the role for you.

* Lead and manage Triage HRBPs and Tier 2 Case Managers, ensuring high standards of case handling and service delivery.
* Provide technical guidance and oversight on complex ER cases including grievance, disciplinary, misconduct, and escalation matters.
* Ensure effective triage, case allocation, and workload management using data‑driven insights.
* Monitor case progress and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
* Build team capability through coaching, case reviews, and input into training and development.
* Collaborate with RC HRBP’s, Divisional HRBPs and Legal to ensure alignment and consistency in ER practices.
* Deliver reporting and insights on case trends and risks to inform strategic decisions.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

* Extensive experience in employee relations within a complex, unionised organisation.
* Proven leadership of HR teams, ideally within a case management or ER function.
* Strong technical knowledge of employment law and ER best practices.
* Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* A strategic mindset with the ability to translate data and insights into action.
* Experience in coaching and developing HR professionals.
* Experience in designing and implementing ER frameworks or triage models.
* Exposure to digital case management systems and data analytics tools.
