Who You Are We are seeking a suitably qualified, innovative, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Social Worker. You must be a good team player, flexible, committed, and hardworking. You will support younger adults with physical disabilities and sensory impairments, as well as older people, in living as independently as possible. You will work with their carers to ensure risks are appropriately managed, operating within a multidisciplinary framework and building strong relationships with partner agencies. What the Job Involves In this role, you will promote and maintain independence for vulnerable adults according to the wellbeing principles set out in the Care Act 2014 and relevant legislation. You will conduct robust assessments and employ safeguarding procedures. Key responsibilities include initiating and coordinating support plans, supervising staff, managing duty services, undertaking safeguarding work, and conducting best interest assessments. Additionally, you should be prepared to supervise unqualified and qualified care managers, chair meetings, and contribute to service development.
