Key Responsibilities
Supporting the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Managing and training kitchen staff, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
Preparing and delivering high-quality dishes with strong attention to presentation and flavour.
Assisting with menu development using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
Ensuring full compliance with food hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
Overseeing stock control, inventory management, and supplier ordering.
Working efficiently under pressure in a busy service environment.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar fast-paced, fresh food kitchen.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Passion for producing high-quality dishes and working with local produce.
Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices.
Ability to perform well under pressure in a busy kitchen.
Flexible and committed with a positive, hands-on approach.
