About the Role
We are looking for a CNC Turner / Miller to join a growing precision engineering team based in Thetford. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in CNC machining, whether you’re early in your career or a highly skilled professional.
You will work with Mazak CNC lathes and milling machines, producing high-quality components to customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and set Mazak CNC lathes and milling machines.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce components to exact tolerances.
* Carry out programming, setting, and operating duties as required (support and training available for those developing skills).
* Conduct quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment.
* Ensure machines are well-maintained and safe to operate.
* Collaborate with the wider team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Key Requirements
* Previous experience in CNC machining (essential).
* Familiarity with Mazak machines is desirable but not essential.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Flexible and proactive approach to work.
* Open to candidates with varying levels of CNC machining experience — training and development will be offered.
