Primary Purpose of Position:

We are looking for an organised, dependable, and proactive Warehouse Operative to join our growing team in Stockport. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will play a hands-on role in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring that stock is replenished, rotated, and maintained in the packing area as required.

Your responsibilities will include accurately picking, packing, and dispatching orders (both B2B and D2C), preparing shipments, scanning and processing inventory, and supporting stock takes. This is a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking, accuracy, and attention to detail are key.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in general warehouse duties, including stock checks, packing, and working efficiently under pressure, while maintaining a positive, team-focused approach.

Activities:

* Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders (B2C and B2B)
* Process, package, label, and scan inventory for delivery, ensuring quality and accuracy
* Replenish, rotate, and organise stock in the correct warehouse and packing locations
* Perform regular stock checks and assist with audits and inventory documentation
* Use Shopify and iPacky to manage and process orders
* Handle dispatch and labelling via Royal Mail and DHL platforms
* Assist with loading/unloading deliveries and moving materials within the warehouse
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace, following all health and safety procedures
* Report damaged or missing inventory to the Warehouse Manager
* Support the Sales team by ensuring B2B orders are processed to retailer specifications
* Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet daily and weekly goals
* Support weekend operations during peak promotional periods when required

Qualification Requirements:

Critical

· GCSE English & Maths – minimum Grade C (Level 4)

Desirable

· Familiarity with inventory software

Experience & Key Skills:

Essential

· Prior warehouse experience (2+ years preferred)

· Good level of physical fitness (able to lift up to 30kg and perform manual tasks throughout the shift)

· Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

· Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Highly organised and able to follow health & safety procedures and regulations

· Flexibility to work weekends and Bank Holidays during planned promotions

· Strong work ethic and reliability

Desirable

· Familiarity with Shopify and iPacky

· Experience with Royal Mail and DHL dispatch systems

· Experience using Mac/Apple devices and eCommerce platforms (e.g., Magento)

· Forklift licence (advantage but not essential)
