Tameside College is a diverse and vibrant further‑education college in Ashton‑Under‑Lyne, Greater Manchester, offering a wide range of courses including A‑levels, advanced‑level vocational programmes, apprenticeships and adult courses up to degree level. Responsibilities
You will be responsible for planning, delivering and developing teaching and learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles. You will manage the quality of your teaching and support curriculum development to meet learner needs, assess learner progress in college or on work experience, and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets.
Qualifications
* Enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated with Literacy and Numeracy at least Level 2.
* Minimum Level 3 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent). Level 4 Teaching Qualification: Certificate in Education / PGCE / Bachelor of Education.
* Must achieve a Level 5 Diploma in DTLLS or equivalent within 3 years of appointment.
* Relevant assessment qualifications – IQA, A1, V1 – and evidence of current Continuous Professional Development.
* Enhanced DBS check (and, for regulated activity, an additional barred list check).
