Leading all preparation and review activities for Rail Replacement Services (RRS) to ensure that they are delivered in a safe and customer focused manor and any opportunities for improvement are captured and actioned. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.• Provide a visible, on-the-ground presence during Rail Replacement Service (RRS) operations across the TfW network, including occasional weekend and out of office hours work, to ensure smooth and effective service delivery.• Leading innovation in RRS. Working collaboratively with colleagues across TfW to review operations, identify opportunities to improve the service (both operationally and customer experience), and drive these improvements from idea inception through to delivery. Ensuring teams needed to support this are actively engaged.• Oversee the allocation of RRS Coordinators, ensuring optimal deployment to locations that support operational efficiency and deliver an excellent customer experience.• Lead the development of operational delivery plans for RRS, including special requirements such as additional staffing, queuing systems, and space management to support specific service needs.Who we're looking for• Proficient with Power BI, Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills• Experience in continuous improvement environment.• Experience in passenger transport sector. • Highly organised and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.Welsh Language SkillsThe ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.Transport for Wales supports and promotes the use of the Welsh Language by employees and will encourage them to develop, improve and maintain their Welsh Language skills.
