About This Role
SERVICE OBJECTIVES
St. Michael’s Children and Family Centre provide services that support the improvement of outcomes for children and young people and aged 0-19 (25 SEND) and their families with a particular focus from conception until the age of 2.
KEY PURPOSE
Based in the Children and Family Centre you will be responsible for the co‑ordination and administrative support of the Centre and outreach services in line with the Children and Family Centre Contract and Service Specification. As part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) you will lead community engagement and the development of services to meet community need. Close working with the community and partner agencies is an essential part of the role.
Main Responsibilities
* Coordinate and administrative support of the Centre and outreach services.
* Lead community engagement and development of services to meet community need.
* Manage the direct line supervision of the Community Team, Administrators and Volunteer Coordinator, including performance management and professional development.
* Monitor cash and card payments and manage petty cash, ensuring income is banked safely and in line with MAT procedures.
* Co‑ordinate procurement of physical resources and maintain accurate records in line with GDPR.
* Act as the named Fire Marshall and Health and Safety Lead.
Main Activities
* Administer and coordinate all community and Children and Family Centre Services.
* Lead on providing an effective, user‑friendly reception service.
* Manage CFC room/facilities marketing, invoicing, and contribute to local strategies to widen participation.
* Lead community consultation and engagement, providing analysis of feedback to support service development.
* Take a lead role in developing CFC services and new initiatives.
* Maintain administrative workflow by reviewing methods, procedures and IT; raise invoices, develop systems for monitoring and evaluating provision, and collect data for quality assurance and self‑evaluation forms.
* Coordinate data input and output for the Local Authority’s data monitoring system, producing and analysing data reports to inform service delivery.
* Ensure premises are secure and systems for maintaining security and safety operate effectively.
* Work flexibly across the Children and Family Centre, including outside normal hours (e.g., evenings and weekends) when appropriate.
* Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle with appropriate business insurance.
