Job Overview
Assist the Ward Manager in day‑to‑day operations, provide strong nursing leadership, and support the multidisciplinary team in delivering high quality, evidence‑based care.
Responsibilities
* Assist with ward management responsibilities and support the Band 7 Ward Manager.
* Work as part of the multidisciplinary team and actively participate in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
* Support and mentor Band 5 nurses, student nurses, and Band 2 Health Care Support Workers in their professional development.
* Provide clinical support and advice to patients and their families or carers.
* Facilitate safe, effective and timely discharges of patients.
Qualifications

* Desirable: Ability to speak Welsh.
