Overview
The Pennine Network is looking for a Ward Administrator to join our admin team on a part-time, permanent basis. You will have a strong attention to detail and organisational skills to support the smooth and efficient functioning of the ward. The post holder will be organised, professional, committed and will assist in providing a high standard, quality clinical support service. The post holder will have knowledge of relevant customer service procedures applicable to this role. Problem solving is an integral part of the role. The role will involve contact on a daily basis with a wide range of people - both internal and external to the organisation and therefore requires a confident approach. The post holder will need to be a team player with very strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
* Receive, allocate and dispatch internal/external mail in line with the Trust policy.
* Provide a comprehensive administrative service which will include minute taking, live minute taking, compilation of reports and other correspondence on behalf of the ward manager and other members of the team, ensuring a high standard in accordance with Trust standards.
* Create and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels, internal and external across the whole health economy.
* Work collaboratively with the appropriate management teams and other departments, including clinicians, to ensure that the appropriate leads are notified in the case of matters of urgency and dealt with in a timely manner.
* Attend and participate in team meetings and admin services meetings as required.
* Skills to enable live minute taking as well as general minute taking.
