Maintenance Technician
Level I-II Depending on Experience

Shift: Flex Shift
The Maintenance Team is responsible for assisting in the administration and maintenance of Vestas tools and equipment, conducting reporting and inspection procedures, and supporting daily Maintenance initiatives within factory locations. The team installs, inspects, tests, repairs, adjusts, and calibrates instruments and machines used in turbine component manufacturing.
Responsibilities
1. Repair and maintain production machines and factory equipment.
2. Coordinate work order processes and optimize workflow.
3. Use and complete work order and equipment tracking forms daily. Maintain the EAM database for new and existing equipment and schedule preventive maintenance. Facilitate tool calibrations and ensure all calibration requirements are met.
4. Create requisitions in SAP for tools, equipment, parts, and supplies.
5. Allocate team resources effectively to support timely work order completion.
6. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
7. Inspect and test shop equipment and instruments to verify dimensions and quality standards.
8. Monitor process indicators, spare parts, labor consumption, and equipment performance.
9. Communicate with equipment suppliers for quotes, orders, and troubleshooting support; host suppliers on-site as needed following safety procedures.
10. Provide equipment status reports to the Department Manager, including routine maintenance and repair estimates.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED.
* 2-3 years of maintenance experience or equivalent training.
* Strong teamwork and self-management skills.
* High adaptability and flexibility.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
* Comfortable speaking in front of groups and leading discussions.
* Knowledge of manufacturing, chemical plants, or refineries is preferred.
* Experience with repairs of processing equipment.
* Ability to read mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic prints, and symbols.
* Ability to understand blueprints, sketches, manuals, and specifications.
* Physical requirements include sitting, handling, reaching, and occasional standing, walking, and travel.
* Specific vision abilities include close, distance, and depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Salary Range
$25.50 - $35.50 per hour
