Job Summary
(Must be over 18 years old ) We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest services. As part of our bar team, you will be responsible for serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Duties
* Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
* Engage with guests to provide excellent service, taking orders and offering recommendations to enhance their experience.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Assist with food preparation as needed, including the preparation of garnishes and simple dishes.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as required.
* Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments.
* Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing an enjoyable experience for guests.
* Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communication.
Experience
* Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Experience in serving or bartending is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidates.
* Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
