Accounts Assistant needed for a minimum of 4 months
The Accounts Assistant role
1. Working closely with sales teams to ensure plot data for forecasting and pricing is up-to-date
2. Responsible for debt collection for all receivables with our partners
3. Assisting the Accounts Payable team in ensuring all invoices are allocated to the correct departments and approved for payment within the payment terms
4. Weekly & monthly bank reconciliation for 5 bank accounts, including downloading the bank statement on a daily basis
5. Updating the cashflow with actuals on a daily basis
6. Process all sales cashbook transactions
7. Process weekly payment runs and send supplier remittances
8. Process and maintain the log of sundry payments
9. Raising of invoices for recharges between the core business and its joint ventures
10. Raising sundry sales invoices for customer care, rebates and other ad-hoc items
11. Assisting wider accounts and development team with ad hoc projects and requests
12. Contract set up and maintenance of the finance system
13. Completions of project and month-end journals
14. Assisting the finance team with analysis and other ad-hoc tasks as required
Essential:
15. IT literate, including MS Excel/Outlook
16. Ability to resolve and reconcile issues with limited supervision.
17. Self-motivated and ability to work on your own initiative
18. Time management and organisational skills to manage workload
19. Ability to communicate to all stakeholders, both internally and externally
20. Ability to work as part of a wider team
