Role Overview
Your role will be to provide urgent and emergency response to mental health referrals from The Rotherham Foundation Trust (TRFT), working in close partnership with them. You will undertake full biopsychosocial assessments, contribute to safe and supported discharge plans, and work closely with TRFT staff to develop their knowledge of mental health, including training and support to develop positive working practices that put the patient at the centre of their own care and promote parity of esteem.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide urgent and emergency response to mental health referrals from TRFT.
* Conduct full biopsychosocial assessments.
* Contribute to safe and supported discharge plans.
* Deliver training and support to TRFT staff, fostering positive working practices centred on the patient.
* Promote parity of esteem in all clinical interactions.
Qualifications and Experience
* Enthusiastic and experienced Mental Health Practitioner, with excellent assessment and risk assessment skills.
* Strong ability to work well under pressure, autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Experience working with adults with complex mental health needs.
* Willingness to continue professional development.
* Full‑time application only.
Working Hours
The team operates over a 24/7 period, requiring a flexible duty rota covering this time. Full‑time applications will only be considered.
