Teacher of PE
MPS/UPS Fixed Term Contract (August 2026)
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of PE to join our PE Department. This is a contract which is fixed until 31st August 2026.
The purpose of this role is to inspire all students to participate and succeed in sport and other physically demanding activities and to provide opportunities for students to become physically confident in ways that support their health and fitness so that they can live life in all its fullness.
We are looking for someone who:
* Is a well qualified teacher of Boys PE
* Has a strong pedagogical and depth of PE subject knowledge of all aspects of the National Curriculum taught at KS3 and KS4
* Has experience of BTEC/CTEC Sport at KS4 and/or KS5 (preferable)
* Is able to generate a sense of confidence and enthusiasm for PE
* Is willing to contribute to extra curricular activities and fixtures
* Builds strong relationships with students and their families
* Works as part of a team
* Is an effective communicator
* Is well organised
