Polypipe Building Products are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products.
Role Overview: To own and manage the product complaints system and provide administrative support to the quality assurance department.
This is a Maternity Cover of up to 12 Months fix term contract.
Key Responsibilities
To provide a primary point of contact for the sales team.
Manage the complaints database – responsible for the documenting, investigation, reporting and communication of complaints and relevant information
Work with the wider QA team to inspect & test returned items
Generate technical reports Work with the QA team to investigate and root cause product quality issues (8D etc)
Generate weekly complaint reviews for management
Control of time sheets and HR requests
General office duties including booking staff holidays, arranging training with L&D and communicating team briefs.
Input and review of QA inspection data
Filing and control of inspection documents
Updating QA documentation upon request, including SSW, RA, internal specifications etc
Populate the HSE folders with requested information and documents & Recording and circulating meeting minutes
Contractors / engineers permits to work
Collection and recording of internal product nonconformance reports
Ensure all activities are carried out whilst complying with all measures introduced by the company with respect to Health, Safety and Environment.
In particular to comply with all procedures, safe working methods and practices and agreed rules to protect your own health and safety as well as others that may be affected by your actions, or omissions.

Skills & Requirements
Knowledge of H&S and Environmental requirements
Knowledge and understanding of Product Specifications (internal & external)
Be self motivated and have the ability to make decisions on own initiative.
Be reliable and trustworthy with Ability to communicate at all levels. xlqdzyr
