Responsibilities
* Manage own caseload and specific service area independently.
* Work within a multi-disciplinary neuro-rehabilitation team to support effective service delivery.
* Assess clients and develop, monitor, and evaluate treatment programmes and incorporate strategies into client management.
* Set and review client goals.
* Assist with casting, splinting, and implementing treatment plans via support staff or care teams.
* Support wheelchair seating assessments and home visits with Occupational Therapy.
* Stay updated on professional developments.
* Supervise physiotherapy assistants as needed.
* Train care staff in handling, mobility, splint use, and safe transfers.
* Ensure safe working environments to optimise client outcomes.
* Contribute to reports for client reviews and case conferences.
* Maintain equipment safety and follow Health and Safety guidelines.
* Liaise with clients, families, and agencies for rehabilitation and discharge planning.
* Keep accurate records and provide written assessments and reports as required, Activelyparticipatingin learning,developmentand feedback opportunities.
