Building a sustainable tomorrow BAM Infrastructure is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Project Director to join our Scotland team on the RIIOT2 framework. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver critical infrastructure projects in Dounreay and Orkney.
Your work environment Work pattern: Monday to Friday, on-site presence required on either site.

Your mission As Project Director, you will be responsible for the following:
Responsible for managing billings and cost procedures during preconstruction
Responsible for ensuring Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) matters are managed on the Project
Developing bid scopes for trade packages and vetting subcontractors to insure compliance
Providing Project Management skills to ensure that all contractual requirements are met
Provide assistance to the site Project Managers on constructability issues during the planning phase of a project and manage the resource allocation to any early construction activities that may take place during this phase of a project
Support the Commercial Manager and Area Commercial Manager in administering subcontracts
Who are we looking for? Degree, HND in Engineering or equivalent
Successful experience and performance at Project Manager level (or equivalent as deemed appropriate by Senior Management)
Must be able to demonstrate leadership and management capabilities to manage a single project of complexity and value
Detailed working knowledge of the construction environment and forms of contract used upon the operational projects for which the individual is responsible
Specialist Technical or Managerial Knowledge, aligned to the specific nature of the project for which the individual is responsible
