The Role
As an Application Support Engineer, you will join the Engineering team at LDMS, supporting multi-disciplinary teams in delivering and maintaining world-class financial software for our partners and clients. Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you’ll develop a thorough understanding of our business, systems, and products. Your primary focus will be supporting customers by responding to service tickets, understanding their needs, and resolving issues.
You should possess a logical mindset, excellent communication skills, and in-depth product knowledge to provide second-line support and assist in resolving service desk issues.
You will proactively support our Service Delivery team to ensure high-quality customer support.
Requirements

The essential skills for this role include:
1. Working knowledge of Web/PC environments
2. Experience with issue management systems (we use Jira)
3. Experience with version control tools (we use Bitbucket)
4. Understanding of SQL (any flavor), including:
5. Executing system procedures
6. Constructing ad hoc queries
7. Resolving data issues via SQL statements
8. Experience with a scripting language (preferably PowerShell)
