About The Role
Working in our Commercial Department, you’ll add value to the business through the commercial analysis of sales, margin, acquisition and profitability of our Major Domestic Appliances. You’ll support our Buyers by analysing and reporting on performance of promotions and our customer proposition. You’ll get involved in the analysis of our acquisition campaigns, with a particular focus on our paid channels.
1. Leading your own projects that have a direct impact on PBT (Profit Before Tax).
2. Gaining experience in forecasting and budgeting.
3. Improving technical skills in Power BI, Excel, and Power Platforms.
4. Presenting your progress to the MD once objectives are achieved.

5. Salary: From £32,000.00 to £37,000.00 (depending on experience) per annum
6. Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
7. Start/Finish time: 9am-5pm

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing
9. Completing cost benefit analysis
10. Supporting the delivery of financial and operational reporting
11. Working with department managers to implement and monitor KPIs
12. Communicating information with internal and external stakeholders
13. Generating reports using a range of IT and database systems
14. Supporting the delivery of the monthly forecast and the annual budget process
* Support the team with data manipulation and weekly reporting, providing insights and commentary to key business KPI’s
A Few Things About You
The backbone of this role will rely on the ability to work fast paced to produce analysis & timely reporting mainly in Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical ability and an openness to expand your IT ability over time are our main requirements.
Essential
15. Good communication skills

18. Capable of working with confidential and/or sensitive data.
19. Experience of working in a professional business environment (This may have been attained during university)
Desirable
20. A relevant degree (Business/Finance Ideally)
21. Strong Microsoft Excel Skills (A knowledge on Sumifs/Pivot tables/Lookups/Conditional Formatting)
22. Willing to work towards CIMA Qualification or are already part qualified.
23. Experience in delivering analysis to senior management/a group of your peers.
24. Financial or analytical background
