An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance professional to join NHS Tayside as a Senior Finance Manager. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, complex, and rewarding environment, contributing to the financial strategy and operational management of NHS Tayside.
As a Senior Finance Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the financial future of health and social care services, making a tangible difference to communities across Tayside.
NHS Tayside serves the Angus, Dundee, and Perth & Kinross localities, with a population of 414,000 and over 14,000 staff. We collaborate with three Integration Joint Boards, local authorities, universities, and third sector partners. Our services span primary care, community services, and acute hospitals, including one of Scotland's four teaching hospitals.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, the post holder will lead the provision of a robust management accounts service. As part of the Senior Finance Team, you will support the delivery of financial targets and take responsibility for specific aspects of strategic and operational financial management across NHS Tayside.
Applicants should demonstrate experience in a senior finance role, extensive knowledge of the local finance agenda, and familiarity with financial aspects of business cases and contracts. The ability to work independently and employ creative problem-solving skills to address a wide range of financial issues is essential.
All employees are required to meet the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and adhere to the Code of Conduct throughout their employment.
