Overview
Accounts Payable Clerk – Aberdeen – Fixed Term Contract (12 Months) for William Wilson (Wolseley Group).
Salary: Competitive salary + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Location: Aberdeen
Contract: Full-time, fixed term, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30.
Responsibilities
* Processing of purchase invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.
* Dealing with telephone calls from suppliers and branches, promoting excellent customer service, accuracy and teamwork.
* Production of scheduled payment runs.
* Reconciliation of supplier statements.
* Filing of Accounts Payable paperwork, following departmental filing procedures and assisting with monthly archiving of departmental paperwork.
* Active involvement in departmental training procedures and suggestions for improvement.
* Assisting Supervisor and Finance Manager with ad-hoc projects as required.
* Compliance with all Departmental, Health & Safety, and other policies.
What we’re looking for
* Enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills.
* Basic knowledge of Excel is an advantage.
* Ability to work as part of the Accounts Payable Team and also on own initiative while following instruction from the Supervisor and the Finance Manager.
