The Trading Oversight & Reporting team work in a fast-paced friendly environment where they're responsible for ensuring HL is compliant with MiFID II Transaction Reporting and Best Execution at all times. ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Analyse and resolve Transaction Reporting exceptions to ensure full compliance with MiFID II regulatory reporting requirements
Review trade price data and investigate outliers to ensure clients consistently achieve best execution outcomes
Ensure the timely and accurate completion of Transaction Reporting reconciliations
Produce, analyse, and maintain Management Information (MI) reporting to support oversight, governance, and regulatory requirements
Present MI, trends and key risk indicators to stakeholders, providing clear insights and recommendations where appropriate
Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external third parties to drive the prompt resolution of identified discrepancies
Contribute to the design, maintenance, and ongoing effectiveness of robust and well-documented controls
Proactively identify, own, and manage issues through to resolution, escalating where appropriate
Participate in wider departmental initiatives and projects to support continuous improvement

Essential skills
Highly computer literate, with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Previous experience within financial services
CISI Introduction to Securities and Investments, or other comparable investment-related qualifications
Knowledge of financial services regulation, with a particular focus on MiFID II
Prior experience in a Compliance, Risk, or Regulatory function
