MWH Treatment is looking to strengthen their Commercial team with a Head of Commercial for our @one Alliance framework. Based from the office in Peterborough you’ll direct, lead, manage and develop the Commercial function including estimating and programme management within the framework and ensure outperformance against the commercial expectations of all principle stakeholders therein.
The framework is a collaborative organisation of consultants and contractors working together to deliver more than half of Anglian Waters capital investment programme.
You will report directly to the Delivery/Commercial Director of the framework and the responsibilities will include:
1. As the Head of Commercial, you will be jointly responsible for developing and executing commercial strategic plans to drive outperformance for the Business Unit.
2. You will lead and manage all aspects of the business unit commercial function, ensuring the team is capable of successfully delivering the Alliance and Business Unit strategic objective.
3. Support @one Procurement Team to establish, sustain, and maintain leading edge procurement and commercial models that drive the right behaviours and deliver successful outcomes for the Business Unit.
4. You will support the @one Estimating Team to establish, sustain, and maintain leading edge project and programme estimating models to facilitate the project lifecycle. Ensuring timely and accurate cost capture upon project closure.
5. Be responsible for cost and performance indicator assurance across the Business Unit, including the Profit/Loss of the Business Unit against its budget.
6. Be accountable for the commercial performance for the Business Unit. Build strong business unit relationships to drive collaboration and integration. Utilise these to achieve better value for the Business Unit.
7. You will support the development of the right culture, behaviours and organisation, employees, and supply chain. Building a commercially aware culture within the Business Unit.
8. Liaise with senior stakeholders - manage and deliver their expectations.
