Responsibilities
* Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Oracle Linux, Foreman, Ansible).
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls (FreeIPA).
* Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
* Apply security patches, OS updates, and ensure compliance with company standards.
* Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies.
* Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall systems.
* Manage routers, switches, and network monitoring tools.
* Ensure network availability, bandwidth optimization, and low latency.
* Troubleshoot network outages, connectivity issues, and hardware failures.
* Implement and monitor network security policies.

* Configure and monitor intrusion detection/prevention systems.
* Apply cybersecurity best practices to both systems and networks.
* Write and maintain scripts (Bash, Python, or Ansible) for automation and efficiency.
* Deploy and manage configuration management tools (TeamCity, Ansible).
* Work closely with application, security, and DevOps teams.
* Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams.
* Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
* 5+ years of proven experience as a Linux System Administrator and/or Network Administrator.
* Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (Oracle Linux).
* Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching and firewalls.
* Ability to use networking tools (Wireshark, Netcat).
* Hands-on Experience with AWS Azure DevOps environments.
* Hands-on experience with VPNs, VLANs, load balancers, and proxies.
* Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes is a plus).
* Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Zabbix, OpenSearch).
* Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash) and at least one programming/scripting language (Python preferred).
* Knowledge of security hardening practices.
* Ability to Manage Postgres Database server, Patroni PostgreSQL cluster is a plus.
* Ability to Manage Corosync Cluster Engine, Pacemaker Cluster manager is a plus.
* Ability to Manage Rabbit MQ cluster is a plus.
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
* Ability to prioritise and multi-task.
* Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
* Team player with a proactive attitude.
